I would not recommend using EternaBond tape for a large portion of your RV roof where you could have used other products, mainly because when it is time to remove it and replace it, you will understand why and thank me.
Dicor Rubber Roof Acrylic Coating
This coating is a popular seal for RVs. The Dicor Insulating Roof Coating (available on Amazon.com) is an excellent alternative for those whose RV roof is EPDM and can’t use the Geocel Pro Flex RV Sealant.
It is recommended to use the Dicor Rubber Roof Cleaner/Activator for best results. Like the main product we discussed, it is quick-drying, allowing you to work fast and be done in no time.
Liquid Rubber RV Roof Coating
This product is quite easy to use. It can either be brushed on or sprayed onto your RV roof. The Liquid Rubber RV roof coating is solar reflective, UV resistant, and stable, which prevents the sun from degrading it.
The liquid rubber solutions are basically like painting your RV roof and are something I would recommend if you have lots of small cracks or just if your roof looks like shit; this should not be used as the only sealant but more for flat surfaces.
When properly applied, the final coating has more than 1000% elongation, which prevents adhesion failure.
This Liquid Rubber Roof Coating (available on Amazon.com) is also an excellent option for rubber roofs and other roofing materials incompatible with the Geocel Pro Flex RV Sealant.
Ontop of this, there are many different products to reseal your RV roof. A lap sealant is definitely something you should read up on. Like the Dicor self-leveling lap sealant is another great option and is something I would recommend using ontop of your adhesive sealant.
